【摘要】:Thetensiletestmethodisrecommendedfortensiontestingofcalciumphosphate/substrateorporousmetalcoating/substratecombinationsandcanprovideinformationontheadhesiveorcohesivestrengthofcoatingsunder(uniaxial)tensilestress.Thetestmethodmaybeusefulforcomparativeevaluationofadhesiveorcohesivestrengthsofavarietyoftypesofcoatings.Coatingsmaybeappliedusingavarietyofmethods,includingbutnotlimitedtoplasma-sprayingandsintering.Informationdevelopedusingthistestmethodmaybeusefulforcertainqualitycontrolanddesignpurposes.Thetestshouldnotbeconsideredtoprovideanintrinsicvalueforutilizationdirectlyinmakingcalculationssuchasdeterminingtheabilityofacoatingtowithstandspecifiedenvironmentalstresses.Processingvariablessuchassubstratepreparationpriortocoating,surfacetexture,coatingtechniquevariablesorpostcoatingheattreatmentvariablesmayintroduceasignificanteffectontheresultsofthetensiontest.Thespecimenbeingevaluatedmustberepresentativeoftheactualendusecoating.1.1Thistestmethodcoverstensiontestingofcalciumphosphateandmetallicporouscoatingsadheringtodensemetalsubstratesatambienttemperatures.Itassessesthedegreeofadhesionofcoatingstosubstrates,ortheinternalcohesionofacoatingintensionnormaltothesurfaceplane.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
